Estimadas familias de nuestra Escuela Canyon Meadows,
During this winter break we wish you love, health, and happiness. We hope you enjoy many precious moments creating memories with your family that you will cherish. In the New Year, at Escuela Canyon Meadows we will continue to ensure our students receive a high-quality bilingual education and feel welcomed, cared for, respected, and safe every day. Our affection and big smile will always welcome our children every morning.
In December our grade 5 students proudly led the food drive campaign to help those in need and to give our school community the opportunity to engage in acts of kindness. Once again, some of our students made colourful and artistic holiday cards for the seniors in The Manor Village at Fish Creek Park. This project certainly brings cheer and colours to the seniors who will receive the student-created cards.
Our Kindergarten to grade 4 students and teachers shared their winter concerts with the theme: “Todo el mundo cabe aquí” | We all Belong Here. It was a joy to welcome family members to these events. Our grade 5 students enjoyed spreading cheer during their Holiday Tour. They got to visit their future Middle School, Robert Warren to share their amusing concert with their families. at Srta. Cassie, homeroom teachers and students are proud of celebrating their accomplishments with families and of sharing powerful messages of inclusiveness, hope, and peace. One of the songs our students sang states: “Somos la nueva semilla del futuro de la vida. Somos los niños que cantan por la paz y la esperanza” | “We are the new generation of the future. We are the children who sing for peace and hope”. Our students honoured our School Motto: “Somos el futuro” | “We are the Future”.
We are grateful for our School Council and volunteers who worked long hours to, once again this year, assign seating for the winter concerts, this certainly helped us ensure safety in alignment with fire and evacuation regulations. We appreciate the understanding of parents/guardians as we know many families needed to plan for siblings who could not attend the evening performances. The fundraising events, raffle, popcorn and bake sale also organized by our School Council were a success! ¡Muchas gracias!
Ready, Set, Registration! - For new students.
Please share with family and friends about our Spanish Bilingual Program and invite them to attend our Open House on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 6:30 pm.

CBE has also launched new and revised help pages for MyCBE. The help pages can answer frequently asked questions and help parents/guardians navigate through the platforms more efficiently.
Additionally, the Kindergarten Registration Guide is a valuable resource to help parents/guardians prepare for registration.
