Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year
Get ready for the new year with these key dates and times, school supply lists, and other information.
First Day of Classes
The office opens on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
September 2, 2025, grade 1 to 5 students: teachers will meet parents and children on the tarmac behind the school (south side).
Kindergarten students will begin their school year on September 3, 2025.
September 3, 2025, kindergarten students: teachers will meet parents and children outside the school near the playpark doors (northeast doors, close to Canterbury Drive.) Teachers will greet the children and accompany them to the kindergarten classrooms.
Kindergarten students will be assigned their homeroom teacher on Monday, September 8, 2025. Delaying class assignment allows teachers and education assistants the opportunity to get to know students well before assigning them to a compatible class and teacher. There will be no mid-day bussing for Kindergarten.
Kindergarten students riding the school bus will be met at the bus and escorted into the school. At dismissal, the Kindergarten students will be escorted outside and put on the bus by a teacher or an education assistant.
More details with regards to school start-up will be communicated the week of August 25, 2025.

Yellow School Bus Transportation
Our yellow school bus routes are designed over the summer using the addresses submitted before June's pre-registration deadline. Get ready for some exciting journeys!

School Supplies
School supplies are provided by Escuela Canyon Meadows and will be distributed on September 2 and 3.
Students should bring: a pair of indoor shoes (indoor shoes stay at school), a backpack and snacks. If the student is staying for lunch, please send a lunch. Parents of students who do stay for lunch will be charged a noon supervision fee.
We strongly encourage parents to label all of their child’s belongings that come to school.

Digital technologies are transforming how we teach our students. We utilize a range of technology tools to personalize each student’s learning experience, including getting connected to Wi-Fi for seamless access to educational resources.
Off-Site Activities
