November 2025

Thank you all for another wonderful week of teaching and learning! We are so grateful for the beautiful weather we continue to be gifted with to enjoy the outdoors. It has been a pleasure to observe parents on the school field taking advantage of the weather and joining their children to play baseball and other sports at the end of the school day. We are delighted to be educators who get to work alongside such a warm, caring and supportive community.

We wish everyone a restful Fall Break and we are looking forward to welcoming our students back on Thursday, November 13. 

Staffing Update

We congratulate Sra. McNelly, our Library Assistant, who has accepted a Library Assistant position at another school. Sra. McNelly's last day at ECM will be Thursday, November 13. We wish Sra. McNelly all the best. Felicitaciones Sra. McNelly!

We extend a warm welcome to Sra. Aguilar, our new Library Assistant who will start at ECM on November 24. Sra. Aguilar is an experienced professional who is also the Library Assistant at Eugene Coste school. We are delighted to welcome Sra. Aguilar to our CBE Spanish Bilingual family! Parents will have the opportunity to meet Sra. Aguilar during our upcoming Usborne Book Fair taking place on Nov. 27 and 28 during parent teacher conferences. 

Attendance and Punctuality 

This is a reminder to our families that regular and punctual attendance at school is important and leads to a more effective education for your child(ren). We hope all concerned can make a concerted effort in this area and we do appreciate the effort that families make to get their child(ren) to school daily and on time.

Remembrance Day Assembly

On Friday, November 7, we held the Remembrance Day Assembly with staff and students. We reflected on those who lost their lives for us to have the peace we enjoy nowadays. They have our heartfelt gratitude. We are thankful for the students from Dr. E.P Scarlett High School who played The Last Post and Reveille and for our grade three students who shared two heart-felt songs. The assembly allowed us to honour this memorable date of remembrance.
