Inline Skating residency for Kindergarten to Grade Three
Inline skating will start on February 9. Skating schedules have been emailed to you from your child’s teacher. Each class will receive three (3) 60 minute sessions with an Alien In-Line skating instructor. The cost of this residency is $10 per student, available to pay through MyCBE. Please make sure your child is wearing socks for the residency. No socks, no skating. Helmet are provided but you may send your child with their own helmet if you would like; no cages on the helmet please.
Just a reminder that if your child is going to be absent, please call our absence line at 403-777-8600, push “1.” The absence line is available 24/7.

Healthy Hunger
Our next Healthy Hunger is on Tuesday Feb 17th. Cut off to order is Feb 13th.
*Please note that this was changed from Feb 18th due to the grade 5’s being away that day. If you’ve already ordered it will just transfer to the 17th*.
Fiesta
It’s time to start planning for the biggest fundraiser of the year! Fiesta de Verano is a huge party, bringing together the community to celebrate the start of summer. With food trucks, vendors, games, raffles and a silent auction, there is something for everyone!
The Fiesta planning committee will be losing quite a few members after this year, as many of them have children in Grade 5. We need new faces to help us plan this huge event!
The first Fiesta meeting will be taking place Tuesday, February 10 (6:30pm-8:30pm) at Fish Creek Library. We will be meeting in Room 14 on the first floor (back corner of the library).
Fiesta takes place at the beginning of June. If you’re interested in being a vendor, sponsor or want to help plan this fun event, please email ecmsfiesta@gmail.com.
