Thank you!
A huge thank you to everyone who stepped up to help with our casino. The casino is the biggest fundraiser for our school and we wouldn’t be able to make it happen without our amazing community, so THANK YOU!
Gracias to everyone who supported our Old Dutch Fundraiser! Stay tuned for a pick up date during the last two weeks of October.
Our Scholastic Book Fair was a success. Thanks for your support and to our book fair volunteers for helping it run smoothly.
We couldn’t run these fundraisers without our wonderful volunteers. We are so grateful for you all!
School Council and Society Meeting
It was amazing seeing so many new faces at our first council and society meeting! Thank you for coming and sharing your ideas. We welcome all families to join us in future meetings. Upcoming meeting dates will be posted on the school website soon.
Volunteer opportunities
There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year. We’ll be asking for help with popcorn days, Healthy Hunger, bake sale, etc.
Volunteers need their police clearance and volunteer form completed to help in the school. To be added to our volunteer email list, please contact cmsvolunteering@gmail.com
Fundraising
Something exciting is coming! Get ready to show your school spirit with Spirit Wear!!! More information will be available soon.
Healthy Hunger
New Healthy Hunger days have been uploaded for the 2026-2027 school year.
Head to the Healthy Hunger Website and either create an account or log in. You will have to add each student with the school, teacher and room number. Once that is completed, you will be able to order.
The school gets a portion of the proceeds from each order placed.
Ongoing Fundraisers
We have several fundraisers that are ongoing throughout the year:
Popcorn days: Stay tuned for the first popcorn day of the year! Popcorn days usually happen once a month, where popcorn is sold for $2/bag.
Mabel’s labels: Great labels for ALL of your child’s belongings. Don’t forget to select Canyon Meadows Elementary (Calgary) when checking out so the school can get 20% of the proceeds from your order. Order labels
Skip the depot: Got extra cans and bottles? Donate them to Canyon Meadows School Society without even leaving your house! Create an account with Skip the Depot (if you don’t already have one) and schedule a pick up using our referral link. Skip the depot will come to you and save you a trip to the bottle depot.
Know any businesses that are willing to donate? Share our referral link with them!
Cobs (Willow Park): Mention Canyon Meadows School at this location (10816 Macleod Trail, in Willow Park Village Shoppes) and the school gets a kick back from your purchase. You will not be able to collect personal rewards when you do this.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
