It's time to schedule your Student Learning conference. To book, go to your parent account at MyCBE. The conference manager opened Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 7 a.m. Please fill out the following form to share information about your child with their teacher. Please bring the form to your conference.
Terry Fox Run
Friday, September 20, we celebrated the Terry Fox Run with a school assembly. Due to the inclement weather students did not run on Friday. Students will do the Terry Fox run during their physical education period in the coming week.
The Terry Fox Foundation has created an online fundraising page customized for our school. You can donate online.

If your child has medical issues or needs to take medication at school, please complete the forms below and return them to school. Medical forms MUST be updated and submitted every school year.

Scholastic Book Fair
We will have a book fair starting on Tuesday, September 24 and ending on Friday, September 27. Students will be able to view books only beginning September 24 with their class during a scheduled time. Parents/guardians and students will be able to purchase books during Student Learning Conferences on September 26 and 27.
Volunteer Orientation
On October 8, volunteers are invited for an orientation at 8:30 a.m. in the Learning Commons. No need to register or rsvp. Please see below for more information about becoming a CBE volunteer.
Volunteer at school
To volunteer at school, you must have a current police clearance. If you have previously volunteered at CMS, your police clearance is valid for 5 years.
Please follow the steps below to become a school volunteer:
· Log in to MyCBE, then SchoolEngage.
· Fill out the "Volunteer Registration 2024-25" form.
· Make sure your photo ID is clear and readable and is in the form of a selfie.
· The school will provide you with an ePIC letter for the Police Information Check.
· Go online to the Calgary Police Service's Police Information Check webpage and submit the required information.
· When you receive the results from the Police Information Check, upload the results through SchoolEngage.
· Please inform the school when you have uploaded your results.
