School Council Meeting About School Planning
Learn and Share | School Planning
We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we’ll be sharing information about school planning and asking you to share your perspectives.
During this engagement, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn About
- School planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget and school fees
- How the school development plan sets the overall focus and direction for a school to improve student learning outcomes
- How the school budget provides funding to implement our school development plan (SDP) (scroll to the bottom of the page to access our SDP)
- School fees and why they are necessary
- Participate
- Participate in our in-person school council meeting on February 23 at 6:30 pm to learn more about school planning. There will be an opportunity to provide feedback at this meeting.

Inline Skating residency for Kindergarten to Grade Three
Skating schedules have been emailed to you from your child’s teacher. Each class will receive three (3) 60 minute sessions with an Alien In-Line skating instructor. The cost of this residency is $10 per student, available to pay through MyCBE. Please make sure your child is wearing socks for the residency. No socks, no skating. Helmets are provided but you may send your child with their own helmet if you would like; no cages on the helmet please.

Fiesta
Thank you to everyone who attended our first planning meeting! We have quite a few committee members leaving after this year and it’s so great to see the enthusiasm that everyone has to carry it forward and make it a successful and exciting event for years to come.
