Then go to “Notifications”, then “Outstanding Forms.”
There is an additional form available called “Citizenship Information Update” to be used if your child’s citizenship info changes.
For technical assistance, please call the parent account help line at 403-817-6373.
Annual Authorization 2026-27
Each year we ask parents to review the Consent for CBE Use of Student Information and the Consent for CBE Use of Student Information by News Media and Outside Groups (Third Party) forms. You can access them and give or deny consent through MyCBE/PowerSchool.
Medical Forms
If your child has medical issues or needs to take medication at school, please complete the forms below and return them to school. Medical forms MUST be updated and submitted every school year.

School Council
Join the first Council and Society meeting
Get involved! Learn more about what’s happening at the school and how you can help. Council meetings are usually the last Monday of each month. The first meeting is Monday, September 28 at 6:30pm in the library. The first meeting usually runs a bit longer, but you can leave early if necessary. We hope to see you there!
Casino
We still need lots of volunteers for our casino, especially for Monday, October 5 at Deerfoot Inn and Casino. We need to fill ALL volunteer spots, or we risk losing the casino!
Anybody can sign up for the casino, no police clearance necessary. Gather your family and friends and have fun working a shift together!
We are given a casino every 18 months, and it’s a huge amount of money raised for the school. A typical casino brings in approximately $70-$80 K. This money goes towards technology, resources, field trip bussing and helps keep school residency and field trip costs low.
Click here to sign up for the casino!
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will be set up during Parent Teacher Conferences September 24 & 25. The money raised from purchases goes towards new books and enrichment materials for the Learning Commons.
We are still in need of 1 volunteer for the Thursday, September 24 shift from 12pm-4pm. If you are able to help, please sign up Here
Volunteer opportunities
There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year. We’ll be asking for help with popcorn days, Healthy Hunger, bake sale, etc.
Volunteers need their police clearance and volunteer form completed to help in the school.
To be added to our volunteer email list, please contact cmsvolunteering@gmail.com
Chip Fundraiser
Our chip fundraiser is ongoing, aimed at raising funds to enhance student learning. Every box of chips purchased brings us one step closer to making our school an even better place for our children to learn and grow. Order forms and money are due back on Monday, September 21st.
Alternatively, you can order online Here and send an e-transfer.
If you submit your order online, there is no need to return the paper order form.
Healthy Hunger
Our first Healthy Hunger of the year is coming up on Wednesday, October 7. Get your orders in by October 2 for a Subway lunch!
Head to the Healthy Hunger Website and either create an account or log in. You will have to add each student with the school, teacher and room number. Once that is completed, you will be able to order.
The school gets a portion of the proceeds from each order placed.
Ongoing Fundraisers
Popcorn days: Stay tuned for the first popcorn day of the year! Popcorn days usually happen once a month, $2/bag.
Mabel’s labels: Great labels for ALL of your child’s belongings. Don’t forget to select Canyon Meadows Elementary (Calgary) when checking out so the school can get 20% of the proceeds from your order. Order labels
Skip the depot: Got extra cans and bottles? Donate them to Canyon Meadows School Society without even leaving your house! Create an account with Skip the Depot (if you don’t already have one) and schedule a pick up using our referral link. Skip the depot will come to you and save you a trip to the bottle depot.
Cobs (Willow Park): Mention Canyon Meadows School at this location (10816 Macleod Trail, in Willow Park Village Shoppes) and the school gets a kickback from your purchase. You will not be able to collect personal rewards when you do this.
Know any businesses that are willing to donate? Share our referral link with them!
Thank you for your support!
