Casino
Canyon Meadows School Society has been given our casino dates and it’s coming up right away on Sunday, October 4 and Monday, October 5 at Deerfoot Inn and Casino. We need to fill ALL volunteer spots, or we risk losing the casino!
We are given a casino every 18 months, and it’s a huge amount of money raised for the school. A typical casino brings in approximately $70-$80 K. This money goes towards technology, resources, field trip bussing and helps keep school residency and field trip costs low.
Anybody can sign up for the casino, no police clearance necessary. Gather your family and friends and have fun working a shift together!
Click here to sign up for the casino!
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will be set up during Parent Teacher Conferences September 24 & 25. The money raised from purchases goes towards new books, enrichment materials and furniture for our learning commons.
We are still in need of 2 volunteers for the Thursday, September 24 shift from 12pm-4pm. If you are able to help, please sign up Here
Volunteer opportunities
There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year. We’ll be asking for help with popcorn days, Healthy Hunger, bake sale, etc.
Volunteers need their police clearance and volunteer form completed to help in the school.

Fundraising
You may have noticed forms for Old Dutch chips in your child's backpack this week. We're excited to announce our upcoming chip fundraiser, aimed at raising funds to enhance student learning. Every box of chips purchased brings us one step closer to making our school an even better place for our children to learn and grow. Order forms and money are due back on Monday, September 21st.
Alternatively, you can order online Here and send an e-transfer.
If you submit your order online, there is no need to return the paper order form.
