Our Indigenous Education Residency will start Monday, April 8. Our students will engage in Indigenous storytelling with Sr. Clarence Wolfleg Jr. (Skip) for one week and will participate in dance and movement sessions with Sra. Pearl White Quills for two weeks. Each class will have six sessions in total with these Indigenous Knowledge Keepers. The residency will conclude on April 26. Grade 1 to 5 parents/guardians are invited to attend our Celebration of Indigenous Learning on April 26. Kindergarten parents/guardians are invited to attend a Celebration of Indigenous Learning Thursday, April 25.
The cost for this residency is $6.50 per student. Please pay online through MyCBE. We are grateful to School Council who are paying for a significant portion of this residency thereby lowering the cost for families.
