Staffing Update
We bid a fond farewell to Sra. Ariza who has announced her retirement from the Calgary Board of Education effective June 30, 2024. In her devoted teaching career at Escuela Canyon Meadows, Sra. Ariza has impacted the lives of many students and families. Every colleague who has worked with Sra. Ariza throughout the years will feel her absence.
We sincerely thank Sra. Ariza for her long and distinguished service to our community and the CBE. Our best wishes go with Sra. Ariza in her “jubilación”.
Bouldering/Traverse Wall
Students will be using the bouldering/traverse wall in the gym. Please send your child to school in appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes for this activity. This Physical Education and Wellness unit will conclude on June 14.
Library Book Return
June 14 is the last day to return books to the CMS Library. Students may continue to borrow books but the check out period will be shorter for any books checked out after May 31. All library resources (books, etc.) will be considered overdue after June 14. Thank you for your cooperation.
Students on bikes at school
We kindly request that students who ride bikes to school walk their bike across the school grounds when leaving.
Dogs on school grounds
A reminder to our school community that according to City of Calgary Bylaw on Responsible Pet Ownership dogs are not permitted on school grounds in the City of Calgary or around playgrounds.
