Hola familias de nuestra Escuela Canyon Meadows,
Another year is ending bringing us the holiday time to stop and enjoy precious moments with our loved ones. The warmer weather this fall has provided more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. At Escuela Canyon Meadows we continue to be committed to ensure our students receive a high-quality bilingual education and feel welcomed, cared for, respected, and safe each and every day. We welcome our children every morning with cordiality and a big smile from the bottom of our hearts.
In December our grade 5 students proudly led the food drive campaign to help those in need and to give our school community the opportunity to continue to engage in acts of kindness. Once again, some of our students made colourful and artistic holiday cards for the seniors in the Manor Village at Fish Creek Park. This project will bring cheer, and lots of 'glitter' J to the seniors who will receive the student-created cards. Our Kindergarten to grade 4 students and teachers shared their winter concerts. It was a joy to welcome parents / guardians for this event. Srta. Cotton, homeroom teachers and students are proud of celebrating their accomplishments with families.
We are grateful for our School Council and volunteers who worked long hours to assign seating for the winter concerts, it certainly helped us ensure safety in alignment with fire and evacuation regulations. We appreciate the understanding of parents / guardians as we know many families needed to plan for siblings that could not attend the evening performance.

Kindergarten registration will begin Monday, Jan. 15, 2023. The registration pages on the CBE corporate website have been updated for a more accessible and streamlined registration process. CBE has also launched new and revised help pages for MyCBE and SchoolEngage. The help pages can answer frequently asked questions and help parents/guardians navigate through the platforms more efficiently.
Additionally, the Kindergarten Registration Guide is a valuable resource to help parents/guardians prepare for registration.
